A few foods that you think are good for your body, are actually the one’s causing all the damage. Be careful about the foods that you make part of your daily diet and it could help in ensuring that you lead a healthy life.

The foods listed below should be eliminated from your regular diet. You could indulge yourself once in a while and be happy, if you are a fan, but let your regular diet be bereft of these few foods.

Sushi
Fish is known to have the super healthy omega-3 fatty acids that are known to be very high in protein. Rice found in sushi too is relatively healthy, then why eliminate it from your diet? Well, while the traditional and authentic varieties may be a treat, the Americanized versions tend to be loaded with sauces that boast of ingredients that should be avoided by you.

Granola
Granola bars that you buy from the market are known to be high in calories, so try and avoid it. If you do want to include some granola in your diet, you can simply find a recipe online and make your own version at home just as easily.

Yogurt
Flavored yogurts that you pick off shelves at the supermarket tend to have way too much sugar, sugar that is bad for you. So, try and avoid these varieties, choose plain varieties that are more organically made. You could also choose to get your dose of dairy from cottage cheese.

Juices
While most of us try and make juice a part of our daily diet and think that its enough, you should know that the most beneficial fiber content in fruits is lost through the process of juicing. So, choose to make a smoothie instead.

Choose to eliminate these foods from your daily diet; you could indulge in them a few times a year. Speak with a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and also speak with a Homeopath, so that you can learn about alternatives to these foods and work towards living a healthier and happier life.
