Exercise
Exercise not only helps keep the body in shape, but it also tires the body so that you can get a good night’s sleep. Exercise must be done in the day and not at night, when you body goes in to relax mode. When you indulge in exercise, adrenalin is increased, which keeps you excited for a period of time, and it is not something you want, especially at night when you are trying to sleep.

Skip caffeine after noon
Caffeine affects sleep and that’s why it should be avoided after noon. Coffee can stay in your system for up to 5 hours, so it’s best to be avoided after lunch.

Early Dinner
Your stomach should ideally be empty when you get to sleep. The body needs about two to three hours to do so. Try and eat as early as you can to achieve this. When you do so, it helps avoid acid reflux, which is aided when you lay down to sleep.

Blue Light Filter
The phone does not leave our side, and if you use your phone and computer incessantly in the after hours, you could consider installing a blue light filter on your mobile phone as well as computer. These filters can be downloaded easily and they cut out blue light in the evenings, which disrupt sleep.

Try a soothing environment. Choose to black out your room, add some fragrance to the mix, and try and achieve pin drop science.
